What happens at your free permanent makeup consultation
Permanent makeup stays for years, so it starts with a conversation, not a needle. The consultation is free, in person and comes with no obligation to book.

What happens
You meet Valeria in person at the studio in Woodland Hills. Together you:
- talk through the shape and color you want, and how you do your brows now;
- look at your proportions, bone structure and existing hair;
- choose the technique, for example microblading or powder brows;
- check that permanent makeup is right for your skin and health.
There is no deposit and no obligation to book. If you are not sure yet, you leave knowing what would suit you.
What to bring
- A few photos of brows you like, and of your brows without makeup.
- If you have had permanent makeup before: when, and what was done.
- A list of medicines you take, so Valeria can check what needs your doctor’s clearance.
Who should not get permanent makeup
It may not be right for you if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- have an infection, inflammation, eczema or psoriasis on the brow area;
- have uncontrolled diabetes or a condition that slows wound healing;
- tend to form keloid scars;
- take blood thinners or acne medicine such as isotretinoin;
- are allergic to pigments or numbing products;
- are having chemotherapy or have certain immune conditions.
Some of these only need your doctor’s clearance. Never stop a prescribed medicine without asking your doctor. Valeria goes through this with you at the consultation.
Brows done by another artist?
Valeria does not correct work done by other artists, and does touch-ups on her own work only. If you have old permanent makeup, mention it when you book.
After the consultation
- The consultation itself is free, with no deposit. If you book a procedure, a $50 deposit holds that appointment; Valeria sends the details when she confirms.
- The procedure takes 2–3 hours, including mapping, numbing and pigment.
- The touch-up is 4–6 weeks later and is not included.
