Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information IMAGE Permanent Makeup (“IMAGE”, “we”, “us”), Valeria’s permanent makeup studio in Los Angeles, California, collects through imagepmu.com, how we use it and who we share it with.
What we collect
When you request or book an appointment on this site, you may give us:
- your name and phone number;
- your email address (needed for online booking so you receive a confirmation);
- your Instagram handle, if you add it;
- the service, visit type, date and time you prefer;
- anything you write in the notes field, such as previous permanent makeup or skin type. Please share only what you are comfortable with; we can discuss health questions in person at your consultation.
When you call, text or message us on Instagram, we receive what you send through that channel.
Like every website, the servers that deliver this site automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.
How we use it
- to schedule, confirm, reschedule or cancel your appointment and to contact you about it;
- to prepare for your visit and keep a record of the services you received;
- to keep the site working and secure;
- to understand which of our ads lead to bookings, if ad measurement is turned on (see below).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the studio and this site:
- Cal.com, our scheduling service. When you book online, your booking details are stored there and Cal.com emails your confirmation.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this site and processes the technical information described above.
- Google, which serves the fonts on this site (your browser requests them from Google’s servers) and, if we turn on ad measurement, the Google Ads conversion tag. That tag uses cookies to tell us that a visit from one of our ads led to a booking request. You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
If you choose to send your request by Instagram message or text, it travels through Instagram (Meta) or your phone carrier, and their own privacy policies apply.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep appointment details and client records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and professional obligations, then delete them. Booking requests that never become an appointment are deleted within 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Call or text (310) 595-8665 or message @image_pmu2 on Instagram. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep records the law requires us to keep.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so this site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. This site does not allow other companies to collect information about your activity across different websites over time, apart from the Google Ads conversion tag described above when it is turned on.
Children
Our services and this site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Security
This site uses HTTPS, and we limit who can see your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
