No. The touch-up is a second session 4–6 weeks after your procedure, once the skin has healed. Valeria does touch-ups on her own work only and does not correct work done by other artists.

Most clients feel mild to moderate discomfort rather than real pain. A numbing cream is applied first. The appointment takes 2–3 hours, including consultation, brow mapping, numbing and pigment.

Microblading usually lasts 12–18 months, powder brows 1–3 years. It depends on skin type, sun, skincare and metabolism. A color boost keeps them fresh.

The first healing takes 7–14 days, the color settles in 4–6 weeks.

• Days 1–3: brows look darker and sharper.
• Days 4–10: light flaking or dryness.
• Days 10–14: color can look lighter or uneven.
• Weeks 4–6: the final color shows.

Don’t pick or scratch, and follow the aftercare Valeria gives you.

It may not be right for you if you:

• are pregnant or breastfeeding;
• have an infection, inflammation, eczema or psoriasis on the brow area;
• have uncontrolled diabetes or a condition that slows wound healing;
• tend to form keloid scars;
• take blood thinners or acne medicine such as isotretinoin;
• are allergic to pigments or numbing products;
• are having chemotherapy or have certain immune conditions.

Some of these only need your doctor’s clearance. Never stop a prescribed medicine without asking your doctor. Valeria goes through this with you at the consultation.
